Apryl will always hold a special place in our hearts. She is the foundation upon which Morgan Expressions was built. Due to a catastrophic severe, comminuted fracture of her left front pastern, she was never able to make her debut in the show ring. Thanks to the hardwork and dedication of numerous specialists at the University of Minnesota Large Animal Hospital, Apryl was able to undergo numerous surgeries and procedures that made her pasture sound and comfortable enough for broodmare duties. It was truly a miracle how well she fared. She produced five phenomenal foals. Three by HVK Rose Parade, one by Suite After, and another by Astronomicallee. After the chronic laminitis in her right front began causing her lameness, the heart-wrenching decision was made to send our sweet angel to heaven.

Polly had a very successful show career in the hunter and western pleasure divisions and piloted me through my junior exhibitor career. She produced one filly for us by HVK Rose Parade. We lost this great mare much sooner than we had hoped due to a severe colic episode which would have required surgery but was not an option due to her age. The painful decision was made to lay our sweet girl to rest.

Tillie holds the distinction of being my very first horse. She is what got me hook, line and sinker stuck on Morgans. I have been so happy to be part of such a warm, fun & welcoming family that is found within the Morgan community.
M.E. Love Story (HVK Rose Parade x Summit's Polonaise)
May 18, 2005 thru January 27, 2015
We tragically lost Maggie to what was determined to be liver failure based on her bloodwork. We miss this incredibly kind and beautiful mare so much! She was the only foal out of my mare Summit's Polonaise, who piloted me through my junior exhibitor career to numerous Class A wins in Hunter & Western Pleasure. Maggie left a huge hole in our hearts when she left. We are happy she is finally at peace. She had been struggling with maintaining her weight and having frequent colic episodes before she was laid to rest.
Thirty Eight Special (Ultra's Special Agent x ME Kissed By A Rose)

Lola was taken from us much to soon! We are heartbroken that colic stole the hopes and dreams away from a sweet, little girl and her wonderful family shortly after joining their family in Texas. Lola is missed dearly and accomplished a lot in her short time on this Earth. At the 2012 North Star Morgan Americana Show, she won the Yearling Fillies In-Hand Class, the NCMA Futurity Yearling Fillies Class & was also crowned Grand Champion in the $9,000 NCMB Sweepstakes Class.

Boomer was the first horse that really challenged me to become a better rider. He really made me work to get a good ride out of him. He was super fun and game, but definitely wasn't a push button horse that would go around the ring. I really had to think and be one step ahead of him. We really miss the big guy.
